Offset Printing Setup Process

1. Prepress: involves preparing the digital files for printing, including creating printing plates.
2. Platemaking: transfers the design onto metal plates using a photosensitive coating.
3. Press Setup: includes mounting the plates onto the printing press, aligning them, and setting ink levels.
4. Paper Preparation: involves selecting the appropriate paper stock and ensuring it is cut and sized correctly.
5. Printing: the plates transfer ink onto rubber rollers, which then transfer the ink onto the paper.
6. Drying: the printed sheets pass through a drying system to remove excess ink.
7. Finishing: post-processing steps such as binding, cutting, and folding to complete the printed product.
